		History & Vision \| Overview Today, ESG is a modern and exciting congregation with a history enriched with over 200 years of tradition from the two founding churches, the former Eglinton United Church and the former St. George United Church. We invite you to learn a little bit more about us by reading the History of ESG, reviewing the ESG Renovation process, and learning how you can take advantage of the new facility for your small group meetings or special events in Room Rentals.

We hope that you will share in our vision for ESG:

A community of faith with open doors, open minds and open hearts. We invite you to take part in our community of worship, music, Christian faith formation for children and adults, pastoral care, congregational life and outreach ministries.

When you participate, you help fulfill our mission:

To build a growing community of faith with open doors, open minds and open hearts.

Through your participation and stewardship, we can increase worship attendance, small group membership and lay ministry. We can also increase congregational givings, rental income and program income. Most importantly, we can achieve goals like the after-school children’s centre and the upcoming Well-being and Spirituality Centre.
