Biography
Newcomers to Eglinton St. George’s United Church are always met with Connie’s warmth and friendly smile. Connie joined the ESG Ministry Team in September 1999. As Minister of Congregational Development & Education, Connie is involved with the education and faith formation of children, youth and adults. She welcomes new members and is responsible for baptism preparation.

Prior to her call to ESG, Connie served 10 years as minister with the congregation of Wall Street United Church in Brockville, Ontario. She was part of a multi-staff ministry responsible for education, outreach and some pastoral care. In 1983, London Conference commissioned her as a Diaconal Minister in the United Church of Canada and her ministry career began with the congregation of Central United in Barrie.
Originally from the Sarnia area in southwestern Ontario, she earned her Bachelor of Psychology degree from the University of Waterloo. After contract work at St. Jude's Anglican Church in Oakville, Ontario, she received her Master of Religious Education degree from Emmanuel College at the University of Toronto.
Connie currently devotes her volunteer time to Habitat for Humanity in Toronto. Her interests and hobbies include gardening, walking, biking and watching movies.
