Youth Group “The Underground” (Sunday Mornings @ 10:30am)
If you’re in grade seven and up then come join us downstairs in the Youth Room on Sunday mornings at 10:30am. While the rest of the church is upstairs, we’re doing our own thing: having breakfast, playing games, talking about how we can make a difference in the world, and asking any questions that happen to pop into your head. Be sure to check out the facebook page for what is happening now.

Youth Events
The Underground isn’t just Sunday mornings! Throughout the year we do some community outreach like serving supper at the Out of the Cold program. We also, of course, have nights dedicated to just having fun. We’ve gone to basketball games, had massive games of hide and seek, movie nights, and all sorts of other stuff too! So whatever you’re looking for we’ve got something for you.

High School Youth
If you’re in High School (grades 10-12) Nick tries to have a night every two months or so just for you guys to connect, get away from the stress of school, home and everything else you’ve got going on.
Youth Minister
What’s a youth minister? Nick is our youth minister here at Eglinton St. George’s. He doesn’t just run The Underground but is around for whatever you need. Nick is around to go see a movie, see a concert, play video games, help with homework, help you navigate life, big decisions, relationships, and school. He’s also around to just be there when you just need to get away from everything. Whatever it is don’t be afraid to give him a shout! For anything and everything youth-related contact our youth minister Nick Coates:

College and University Students
If you are studying at a college or university, you look for one of over 23 Campus Ministers, affiliated with the United Church of Canada, located on the campuses of colleges and universities across Canada. Many Ministers work in ecumenical chaplainries and have lots of United Church connections. They will be glad to meet new faces on campus!
For a list of Campus Ministers connected to the United Church of Canada, visit: www.uccan.org or call 416-231-5932 and ask for Rick Garland or Steven Chambers in Campus Ministry of the Division of Ministry and Personnel and Education.
