Youth Group “The Underground” (Sunday Mornings @ 10:30am)
If you’re in grade seven and up then come join us downstairs in the Youth Room on Sunday mornings at 10:30am. While the rest of the church is upstairs, we’re doing our own thing: having breakfast, playing games, talking about how we can make a difference in the world, and asking any questions that happen to pop into your head. We also, of course, have nights dedicated to just having fun. We’ve gone to basketball games, had massive games of hide and seek, movie nights, and all sorts of other stuff too! So whatever you’re looking for we’ve got something for you.
High School Youth
Several times a year, we make time for high school youth to get together with Kelly for some time to relax, enjoy each other's company, and talk about stuff that's on people's minds--getting ready for University or graduating from high school, relationships that are starting to be more serious, stuff like that.
Youth Minister/Leader
"What's a youth minister?" You might as well ask what's a minister!
Eglinton St. George's has a youth leader/ youth minister because we believe that youth should have someone paying attention specifically to them! Sometimes you have something going on and you need space to talk something through.
Anything you are having trouble with, our youth minister, Kelly, wants to hear about it. Trouble with your parents, or with school? A relationship that's confusing or difficult? Thinking about university, and wanting someone to talk that through? Worried about your grades? Having body issues? You can talk to Kelly about anything that's on your mind--get in touch over Facebook, or give her a call or text: Kelly Colwell.
Special note to parents: a youth leader can also help navigate relationship issues you may be having with your tween/teenaged kids! Need some help deciphering things, or help figuring out what to say? Don't hesitate to get in touch with Kelly Colwell.

College and University Students
If you are studying at a college or university, you look for one of over 23 Campus Ministers, affiliated with the United Church of Canada, located on the campuses of colleges and universities across Canada. Many Ministers work in ecumenical chaplainries and have lots of United Church connections. They will be glad to meet new faces on campus!
